Hand Strip and Threshed Tobacco

Hand strips tobacco are done by hand. When all the stem is removed leaving with just leaf that is hand strip tobacco.

Threshed tobacco involves conditioning tobacco with heat and moisture. so that it becomes pliable enough to enter the threshers. It involves cutting the blade of the leaf away from the stem with a machine, thresher and get fairly small pieces of leaf blade suitable for use in cigarettes.
